The Biography of Jerad Daniels
Education:
I graduated high school with matriculation in my studies. Since highschool I furthered my education by taking seven years post secondary education. I attended Mount Royal College in Calgary for two years and focused my studies in business. I moved to Victoria in 1999 and attended Camosun College and the University of Victoria and continued to have business as my primary focus. Since then I have completed UBC's Saunder's School of Business Real Estate Licencing Course and the Victoria Real Estate Board's Post Licencing courses. I am licensed to sell real estate in the provence of British Columbia and am committed to taking courses on an ongoing basis to further my education regarding real estate. My education is well rounded and I have an excellent background in marketing, accounting and management. I am very hard working, personable realtor® with a great ability to read the trends.
Work Experience:
Before selling Real Estate I worked in Fine Dining restaurants for sixteen years. The experience of having worked in the best restaurants in Canada has provided me with the tools to provide you with world class service. I have excellent communication skills and a great understanding of business. I have a hard working attitude and am looking to exceed your expectations. I resigned my position at the Aerie Resort and Spa as the Cellar Master/Assistant Manager of Food and Beverage to persue my career in Real Estate.
Family:
I was born and raised in Calgary Alberta. I moved to Victoria in 1999 to attend University and fell in love with the city and west coast lifestyle. I met my beautiful wife Rebecca in school and we have recently welcomed our first child Devon into the world. Our son is almost a year old now and is the biggest gift I could have ever asked for. We plan on having another in a couple of years and are raising them here in Victoria. My wife and I have both worked here in Victoria as well as in Whistler, Calgary, and Switzerland. We have done some traveling and both feel that Victoria is the best Canadian city to live in and to raise our kids in. Most of my immediate family has re-located to Vancouver Island from Calgary Alberta as well as myself. My sister Marla lives in Maple Bay with her two kids, my Dad lives in the community of Cowichan Lake, Mom lives on Langford Lake and my two brothers live here in Victoria. I have convinced my two close friends to move here from Calgary also. I have helped other families from Alberta shop and buy properties here in Victoria. I have yet to find a family that has moved here from a different city that has not loved it here. I would love to help you find a property in Canada's paradise.
Pleasure:
I enjoy fine foods and fine wines. I have taken sommelier certification and love pairing great wines with fine foods. Some of my favorate relaxing days were ones where I have sat on a terrace of a local vineyard mid day and soaked up the summer sun and enjoyed the fine cuisine offered there while sipping on the locally grown and produced wine. If you are looking for a great wine to go with a dish you are preparing, please feel free to use my fine dining experience and wine training and get my recommendation.
Sports:
In my younger years I dreamed of being an NHL goaltender. I played 16 years of competitive hockey and still enjoy playing ice hockey in my free time. I also take pleasure in playing golf, tennis, and squash. I also enjoy biking, jogging and snowboarding. I firmly believe in living an active lifestyle and supporting the local farmers.
